Vote For Job or Joblessness - Ndoum

During the 53rd Student Representative Council [SRC] Seminar at the University of Capecoast [UCC], 2012 Flagbearer of the PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom urged the youth to turn a deaf ear to promises. He advocated that Ghanaians especially the youth must vote for someone with a proven track record of providing and creating jobs.

Dr. Ndoum expressed discontent at the rate of unemployment in Ghana. He emphasised on the pressing need of an exorbitant employment sector.

'The election of Members of Parliament and a President is not an event. It is also not a one day process. It is a four-year process with consequences for all of the people.

So the 2016 election is not a match between Hearts and Kotoko or Ashgold and RTU or Mysterious Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks. You cannot vote then go home and try to forget it. When someone becomes your MP or President, they are there for four years. Unless something really, really bad and disastrous happens, those elected will be there good times or bad times.

That is why I remind Ghanaians always that you get what you vote for.'
