I Will Never Take Volta Region For Granted - President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has promised the voltarians of receiving a fair share of the national cake. The President assured them of receiving their fair share of development.


Volta Region is known to be the stronghold of the NDC and to our president- giving them a fair share of development is the best way to render acknowledgement.


" The Volta Region is not only my world bank. But it is also my IMF and I will do everything possible to give you your share of development" He noted


President John Mahama while briefing the people of Sogakope in the South Tongu District, Volta Region last Saturday emphasized on the need for everyone 18 years + to exercise their franchise.


In his speech, he encouraged the youth- those that are now 18 years + and those who couldn't register during the last process to go and register when the registration kicks off. Nevertheless, anyone guilty of multiple registration will be disenfranchised and instantly  prosecuted.


The President further assured them of greatly improving their standard of living. And that they should anticipate a new Community Based Health Planning and Services(CHPS) from government.
