Ghanaian voters are deeply divided on practically every issue but one: the belief that the country's economy is headed in the wrong direction.
A new CDD poll of 2400 likely voters found that 70 percent of Ghanaians believe the economy is in bad shape.
Despite months of steady job growth, the survey which was conducted between July 2 and July 18 finds most Ghanaians gloomy about the trajectory of the national economy and split closely over the overall job performance of President Mahama.
Bottom line is that the NDC should expect to see brutal election swings where millions will take out their frustrations on them since they are in charge because Ghanaians think Ghana is not the country it should be.
