Minister Blasts Propagandists NPP

Mrs. Mavis Ama Frimpong[Minister, Easter Region] revealed to StarrFm that her region[Eastern region] has received from government their fair share of development under the Presidency of John Mahama.

She disclosed that goverment has undertaken numerous infrastructural projects across the country over the last few years. She utterly labeled the new patriotic party to be propagandists and said they are free to propagate lies but the achievement of the Mahama-led administration is there for all to see.


Adding that the performance of the government has made it possible for the NDC to pursue its agenda 50/50 in the region come November.

"The NPP can choose to close their eyes on the numerous developments across the country and lie to their supporters only, because many Ghanaians who have seen these projects in their communities cannot be deceived.


I am grateful to the President that he has given the region its fair share of development and transformational agenda which has simplified grounds for the Agenda 50/50 target".


The 'Accounting to the People Tour' in the Eastern region came to an end on Thursday. The president ended his three day tour at the Affram Plains North district after commissioning a ferry and water taxi to replace the 10 year-old damaged ferry. He visited many districts including, Lower Manya Krobo, Asuogyaman ,Abirem, Akyem Ofoase, Abetifi ,Affram Plains North and South.
