37 Military Hospital ICU Has Been Shut Down


Reports reaching Ghana News Central suggests that the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the 37 Military Hospital has been shut down to allow for a decontamination exercise.

The most important and delectable unit of the hospital will remain closed until Monday, April 25, 2016 - Lt. Aggrey Quarshie [Spokesperson of the Ghana Armed Forces] confirmed.

He added that there will be no admissions during the three-day period for the decontamination exercise.

The Intensive Care Unit would however be operational from Monday 25 April 2016" -Lt. Aggrey assured. 

Meanwhile, the authorities of the hospital have informed the general public to cooperate with them for the period while the Intensive Care Unit is being fumigated. According to the authorities, the exercise is a necessity and is done periodically.

The decontamination exercise forms part of a periodic fumigation exercise at the 37 Military Hospital. The statement read.
