Government Isn't Paying Me To Be Ambassador - John Dumelo

Ghallywood/Nollywood Actor, John Dumelo after announcing on his Instagram page about his appointment as tourism ambassador has disclosed that his appointment is strictly voluntarily.

In an interview on Hitz FM, John Dumelo reiterated that the ministry is not paying him and that his appointment is voluntary.

"I have been a tourism advocate for over five years. I will still continue going to tourist attractions in Ghana, put it on my social media and let people know of the wonderful places Ghana has. It's strictly voluntary. The ministry is not paying me neither am I getting anything from it "

He also laid emphasis on his desire to put Ghana on the map ie let people know of the wonderful places Ghana has. Written below in bold characters was the appointment message he wrote to fans on his Instagram page;

" Happy to be appointed tourism ambassador by the Minister of tourism. I'm happy to promote tourism in Ghana and also sell Ghana to the rest of the world..."
